This invention relates to the connector 1 for the card, in which by push-operating the card 20 retained at a prescribed attaching position to the depth side of a housing 2, a slider 5 elastically biased to a pressurizing part 6a of a spring member 6 moves to the front side (card unloading direction) while pushing in the card 20, a regulating stage part (regulating part) 3b for regulating movement of the spring member 6 to the front side by abutting on the pressurizing part 6a when the slider 5 is positioned within a prescribed range of the front side is installed at the main body part 3 of the housing 2, and an abutting counterpart of the pressurizing part 6a is switched to the regulating stage part 3b from the slider 5 on the way of ejecting the card 20 from the attaching position.
