Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a connector that doesn't cause connection interruption between a memory card and a personal computer even if misoperation, unexpected impact, or vibration occurs.
CONSTITUTION: When a push bar 36 attached to housing 12 of a connector 10 is moved to a front part 76a, a sliding plate 28 engaged from the push bar 36 through a turn lever 34 moves to a backward 76b while pushing a memory card. This motion discharges the memory card from the housing 12. Though the push bar 36 can be moved in the direction of the front part or the backward 76a, 76b by knob 66 operation, it is fitted-in if a fit-in part member 78 that freely engages to the push bar 36 is engaged. In this fit-in condition, even if the knob 66 is misoperated or if an unexpected impact or vibration occurs, the push bar does not move so as to keep the connection between a memory card and a header.
