To enable to check easily whether or not a connector is inserted into a prescribed connection position to a receptacle connector and to prevent conduction failure even if a click feeling is not obtained.

The connector device is provided with the connector 20 and a receptacle 17 having a recessed part 62 consisting of an elastic body to house the connector 20, and a plurality of projection parts 64 are provided at the inner side face 62b of the recessed part 62, and the projection parts 64 are formed at the place separated a length L2 or more from the bottom face 62a of the recessed part 62 in insertion direction of the side face 20a of the connector 20 opposed to the inner side face 62b of the recessed part 62. Since the projection parts 64 are exposed and become visible from the aperture side of the recessed part 62 when the connector 20 is inserted into a prescribed connection position, the insertion status of the connector 20 can be checked visually. It is preferable that the projection parts 64 are colored in a different color from the connector 20 and are formed of an elastic body. The projection parts 64 are provided in a plurality of pieces and two out of them can be arranged in diagonal state or in opposition.
