Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector device in which the lock structure of a spacer provided in the mating connector of a joint connector can be simplified as much as possible.SOLUTION: On the internal surface of a fitting chamber 24 of a joint connector JC, multiple ridges 25 are provided to extend in the fitting direction. On the external wall surface of a mating connector 40, multiple recesses 45 fitting to the multiple ridges 25 are provided to extend in the fitting direction. In the mating connector 40, a terminal housing chamber 43 for housing the terminal 44, and an insertion space 47 for inserting a spacer 50 provided with a locking piece 54 are provided. In a temporary locked state where the locking piece 54 is locked to the peripheral edge of an open hole 46a in the bottom face of one of the multiple recesses 45, the spacer 50 is permitted to move in the axial direction of the terminal housing chamber 43 of the terminal 44, and prohibited to move in the axial direction of the terminal 44, in main locked state where the locking piece 54 is locked to the peripheral edge of the open hole 46b in the bottom face of another of the multiple recesses 45.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
