To provide a connector for a drain pipe by which a cleaning tool can be easily inserted into a sewage pipe, the inside of the drain pipe and the inside of the sewage pipe can be cleaned easily, a need for separately forming a cleaning opening in a drain device or a floor surface is eliminated, and the cleaning tool can be easily inserted into a horizontal pipe, which is conventionally difficult.
The connector for the drain pipe comprises water drainage equipment 1 for draining the waste water from a water generating equipment to a sewage, a drainage pipe 2 arranged in a room space 7 to drain the waste water from the drainage equipment 1 to the sewage, the sewage pipe 3 arranged in a space 8 under the floor to drain the waste water from the drainage pipe 2 to the sewage, and a connector 4 positioned in the space 8 to water-tightly connect the drainage pipe 2 to the sewage pipe 3. An insertion opening 5 is formed in the connector 4 so that the cleaning tool 6 for cleaning the sewage pipe 3 may be inserted into the sewage pipe 3 toward the downstream side.
