To provide a connector which can connect a flexible wiring board FPC, having lead patterns with two lines arranged on the both surfaces in a staggered manner.
The connector comprises an insulation housing 2 which forms an insertion opening 22; a first contact 4 which has a connection clamp 41 exposed outside the housing 2 and a contact part 42 pointed toward the side of the insertion opening 22; a second contact 5, which has a connection clamp 51 exposed outside the housing 2 and a contact part 52 pointed toward the deep side from the first contact 4; a third contact 6 which has a connection clamp 61 placed to face the first contact 4 and exposed outside the housing 2, and a contact part 62 for making contact with the lead patterns via a slider 3; a forth contact 7 which is placed to face the second contact 5, one side of which forms a connection clamp 71 exposed to the outside the housing 2, and the other side of which forms a contact part 72, making contact with the lead patterns and a weaving end 75 pressed toward the slider 3; and the slider 3, on the front and back surfaces of which a plurality of contact pieces 35 are placed in parallel, and with the front surface of which the third contact 6 has conduction, where the third contact 6 makes contact with the back surface of the slider 3.
