This is the connector provided with a plurality of pairs of header contacts 40, a header 30 equipped with the header body 31 of an insulating member where the plurality of pairs of the header contacts 40 are arranged and installed side by side in one direction, a plurality of pairs of socket contacts 20, a socket 10 equipped with the socket body 11 of an insulating member where an insertion groove 12 for the header 30 to be inserted into and removed from is formed, and in which a plurality of the socket contacts 20 are arranged and installed side by side in one direction so as to be contacted with and conducted to the plurality of the pairs of header contacts 40 in the inner side of that insertion groove 12 when the header 30 is inserted into that insertion groove 12. Then, the socket 10 is provided with a reinforcement fitting 14 including a coupling piece embedded into and fixed to both end parts of one direction of the socket body 11, and a pair of terminal pieces 14a connected to the coupling piece and protruded out to the outer part of the both end parts and soldered to a circuit board by integrally molding the pieces with the socket body 11.
