Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector monitoring device capable of monitoring a heat generation abnormality of a connector without using a temperature sensor.SOLUTION: A connector monitoring apparatus 1 includes: a connector 11 including a power line Lp, a connection detection line Ld, a communication line Lc, and a thermo switch S disposed at a position on a connection detection line Lc close to a connection terminal Tp1 provided at one end of the power line Lp; and a control unit 12 for determining that the thermo switch S is opened on the basis of heat generation abnormality of the connection terminal Tp1 when energization via the power line Lp or communication via the communication line Lc is continuing and disconnection of the connection detection line Ld is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
