PURPOSE: To achieve an easy and secure fixing of a connector without using screws by evacuating once a substrate supporting part having a spring property outwardly to insert the connector to a substrate, whereby a protrusion of the substrate supporting part is engagingly locked in the recess part of the substrate by the reaction force of the spring.

CONSTITUTION: A connector 11 has a substrate supporting part 11-2 having a spring property in the form of nipping a substrate 12 and formed in opposition to the face making contact with the main surface of the substrate 12, and is provided with a plurality of hemispherical protrusions 11-2a on the face in contact with the back face of the substrate 12. The protrusions 11-2a of the substrate supporting part 11-2 are engagingly locked in the recess parts 12-2 of the substrate 12 to conduct the positioning of a connecting land 12-a of the substrate 12 and the terminal 11-b of the connector 11 and also to support the substrate 12 by means of the spring property of the substrate supporting part 11-2. Hence, the connector can be easily and securely fixed to the base plate without using mounting screws.
