Abstract:
To provide a connector which includes a reinforcement fitting that has small size and low height, exerts high strength, and has correct dimension accuracy so as to have improved reliability.SOLUTION: A connector is equipped with a connector body, a terminal attached to the connector body, and a reinforcement fitting attached to the connector body. The connector body can be fitted with a counterpart connector body of a counterpart connector which includes a middle island. A reinforcement fitting includes an upper surface portion, an end surface portion that is connected with the upper surface portion through a rear curving portion, and a side surface portion that is connected to the end surface portion through the side curving portion. The rear curving portion covers a corner between an upper surface and an end surface of the connector body, and the side curving portion covers a corner between the end surface and the side surface of the connector body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
