PURPOSE: To provide a connector for observation which the observation can be performed simply and the strength of a cable can be maintained.
CONSTITUTION: When pressure-bonding a pin contact 1 to a cable 2 as usual, a cylindrical insulating cap 6 is set on a cable 2 to begin with, and next the ring 4 of an observation point for conductivity is set on the cable 2. Subsequently, the pin contact 1 and the observation point 3 are press-fit onto the cable 2. The insulating cable 6 is set on the cable 2 with such engagement that it does not slide without cause, and if a certain force or over in axial direction of the cable 2 works on the insulating cap 6, it can slide. In the case where using the connector provided with an observation point for observation, the insulating cap 6 is slid to the cable so as to cover and protect the pin-shaped part 5 of the observation point 3. In the case of using it, the insulating cap 6 is slid right to the cable 2 to expose the pin-shaped part 5 of the observation point 3.
