To provide a connector and a wire harness that can suppress an increase in size.SOLUTION: A connector 1 to be applied to a wire harness WH1 includes a terminal 2 connected to a wiring material W, and a terminal holding portion 31 which is configured to include a terminal accommodating chamber 32 for accommodating the terminal 2 along a first direction X, a lance portion 33 that faces the terminal accommodating chamber 32, is provided to be elastically deformable along a second direction Y, and locks the terminal 2 accommodated in the terminal accommodating chambers 32, and a deformation allowable space portion 34 which is located on the opposite side to the terminal accommodating chamber 32 with respect to the lance portion 33 in the second direction Y and allows elastic deformation of the lance portion 33. A plurality of terminal holding portions 31 are provided in a positional relation in which the deformation allowable space portions 34 are close to one another with respect to the second direction Y, and movable ranges of the lance portions 33 are at least partially overlapped with one another when viewed along the third direction Z.
