To solve a problem that a conventional connector is not applicable to a cable in which a transmission characteristic is deteriorated by crushing since the cable is fixed to a housing by crushing.

This connector with a cable caulking jig has engaging grooves which are formed on both sides of an opening of a plug housing, and in which the engagement is carried out by inserting the connector with a cable caulking jig composed of a recessed shape, an intermediate coupling part, and a caulking part into the engaging grooves formed on both the sides of the inner side of the opening of the plug housing, while the recessed shape of the connector with the cable caulking jig is made on the tip side. Furthermore, this connector with the cable caulking jig has the plug housing and the cable caulking jig which are engaged by one or a plurality of engaging means. Then, in this connector with the cable caulking jig, cable binding and caulking are simultaneously and collectively performed on the plug housing side at both places of the terminal and the caulking part of the cable caulking jig. By this, the crushing of the cable is prevented and the connector becomes optimum for the high speed transmission cable.
