Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a connector with a switch suited to switch an internal/ external antenna of a communication equipment of cellular phone or the like. CONSTITUTION: A connector with a switch is provided with a first/second connector 20, 50 fitted to each other. The first connector 20 has a pair of spring contacts 34 ordinarily connected to each other by elasticity through an insulator 36 in a metal shell 22. The second connector 50 has a signal contact 66 fixed through an insulator 58 in a metal shell 63. In an unfitted condition of both connectors 20, 50, the spring contact 34 is mutually connected, when the connector is fitted, the spring contact 34 is separated, to be connected to a signal contact 74 of the other connector 50.
