To provide a connector with which play in each connecting portion between a movable member, especially, a movable insert in a metallic mold and a drive unit for shifting the movable insert in a metallic mold is eliminated and the movable member can be shifted without wobbling.
This connector 1 is provided with: a connector body 2 having a connection end part 4 to be connected with the movable insert 80 and a large-diameter connection part 6 to be connected with the drive unit 90 at both ends, and having a through-hole in the axial center direction; a shaft member 3 whose length in the axial direction is freely variable, and a fixing means 9 for fixing the shaft member 3 to a prescribed length. In this way, since the connector body 2 and the movable insert 80 and the drive unit 90, are connected with one another in a pressurized-contact state in the axial direction, the play in each connecting portion is eliminated and the movable insert 80 can be shifted without the wobbling.
