To provide a connector with a small number of components and inexpensive manufacturing cost, easy in the connection of a male type connection member with a female type connection member.

The connector has a casing 3 having a housing chamber 4 opened in the front and a circumferential wall formed at an outer circumference of the housing chamber 4, dividing grooves are formed dividing the circumferential wall into a plurality of parts in the circumferential direction, an elastic member 8 is provided at the whole circumference of the circumferential wall, and the connector is composed of the female type connection member 1 provided with a diameter enlargement preventing means 12 and the male type connection member 2 having a male type locking member 23 formed with a locking part 23b at a tip. By inserting the male type locking member 23 into the housing chamber 4 of the female type connection member 1, after a front part of the circumferential wall is diametrally enlarged, it is diametrally reduced, and the locking part 23b of the male type connection member 23 is engaged with an inner circumference face of the circumferential wall. By making the diameter enlargement preventing means 12 engaged with the casing 3, diameter enlargement of the circumferential wall is prevented, and the locking part 23b of the male type connection member 23 is engaged with the inner circumference face of the circumferential wall.
