To provide a lamp connector in which a defect in a conventional technology is eliminated, the cooling of a high temperature type lamp is enhanced, and a base of the high temperature type lamp is improved.

The lamp (10) has an integrated cooling system (12) and comprises a crystal envelope (14) including a light source (16) which operates at a temperature of 900°C or higher, a seal part (18) which is positioned at one end of the crystal envelope and includes electric drawing portions (20, 22) connected electrically to the light source, and a base (24) of ceramics which is fixed to two sides only of the seal part and includes a bottom (30) in a circumference direction including a pair of contacts (32, 34) connected to the electric drawing portions, and an air passage (36) between the base and the seal part.
