To provide a connector which can be commonly used for a contact-type connector and a spring built-in connector.

A vehicle side connector 11 comprises: a connector housing 10; and a vehicle-side connector terminal 12. The connector terminal 12 comprises: a terminal connection part 12S on one end; an electric wire connection part 12C on the other end; and a flange part 12F. The connector housing 10 is provided with an electric wire connection part housing part 10C, which has a diameter almost identical to that of the flange part 12F in connection to an opening, in which the connector terminal 12 is inserted from a rear part, and in which the electric wire connection part 12C can be housed; and a terminal connection part housing part 10S, which has a diameter smaller than that of the electric wire connection part 12C and in which the terminal connection part 12S can be housed. A rear holder, on which a through hole that can penetrate through one part of the electric connection part 12C is formed, is provided to cover an opening of the connector housing 10. One part of the electric wire connection part 12C is inserted in the through hole of the rear holder, and a housing space, in which a tubular spacer S or a spring C, in which the electric connection part 12C is inserted, can be arranged, is formed.
