Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a connector with an earth metal fitting less likely to be hooked, and having no risk of falling out.SOLUTION: A D-sub 1 including an insulator 20 having a terminal hole 271 in which a terminal 50 is arranged, and a shell 10 consisting of a conductor attached to the fitting part 270 of the insulator 20 has such a structure that the shell 10 is connected with an earth metal fitting 30 for conducting with the ground 62 of a circuit board 60 when assembled thereto, the earth metal fitting 30 is attached to an earth metal fitting hole 231 elongated in the fitting direction of the insulator 20 from the fitting surface side, and the proximal rear end 310a of the earth metal fitting 30 is retained by the retainer 110a at the base 110 of the shell 10.
