Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which can be fitted with a mating connector according to a predetermined standard and in which an effective contact length of a contact is made longer.SOLUTION: A connector 10 comprises a housing 20 and an internal structure 30. The housing 20 includes a receiving part 224, and the internal structure 30 includes a plurality of contacts 35. The housing 20 includes a second upper inner wall surface 242 and a second lower inner wall surface 244 defining a rear portion 240 of the receiving part 224. On the second upper inner wall surface 242 and the second lower inner wall surface 244, a plurality of contact accommodation parts 246 is formed for individually accommodating the contacts 35 therein. The contact accommodation parts 246 are grooves extending in a fitting direction and are at least partially opened in a front portion 230. Each of the contacts 35 includes an elastically deformable spring part 352 and a contact 350 which is supported by the spring part 352. In a state before being fitted with the mating connector, the contact 350 is positioned within the rear portion 240.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
