Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture connectors with incomplete fitting preventive function.
SOLUTION: A movable member 30 installed in a male connector housing 20 in a manner that the member 30 can move in the fitting direction is biased by a coil spring 4 in the front end in the fitting direction and so constituted as to part both connector housings 10, 20 by the spring force in the parting directions and as to detect the incomplete fitting of the housings 10, 20. The movable member 30 is provided with an engaging hole 31 in the direction at right angles to the movable direction and the engaging hole 31 can be engaged with a lock arm 12 installed in the female connector housing 10. Due to the installation of the engaging part with the lock arm 12 in the movable member 30, the structure of the connector housings is simplified and manufactured easily as compared with that of a conventional connector complicated by installing the engaging part in a male connector housing 20.
