PURPOSE: To achieve sure connection and easy removal by providing a connector comprising a body fitted to a pipe, a movable slip means provided on the body, a seal means and a hydraulic piston means having a first operating part for the seal means and a second operating means for the slip means.
CONSTITUTION: In a connector 21 comprising a body 23, a slip stop nut 45, seal rings 75, 77 arranged on a pipe, and double-acting hydraulically actuated pistons 105, 107, the body 23 is provided with a hole 15 disposed at one end of the pipe for forming an annular hole area between the outside wall of the pipe and the wall of the body. The slip stop nut 45 is arranged in the periphery of the pipe and capable of moving from the non-operating position to the operating position. The double-acting hydraulically actuated pistons 105, 107 are arranged on the pipe and engaged with the snap stop nut 45 and the seal rings 75, 77. Accordingly, fitting and removal can be facilitated and sure sealing ability can be obtained.
