Abstract:
To provide a console box that is superior in rigidity and furthermore is superior in accuracy of mounting thereof on an object to be mounted.SOLUTION: A console box is provided, in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle, on a floor between a driver seat and a front passenger seat in the vehicle, which comprises an opening part through which a shift lever device fixed onto the floor is pulled out upward and a beam member which brides left and right sides leading to the opening part. The beam member has a fixed part that is fixed to the shift lever device and a pair of engagement parts that is engaged with the left and right sides respectively. The engagement parts have movement margins that can move in a vertical direction or in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle with respect to the left and right sides respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
