To form a console box having a longitudinally curved finisher surface economically with a high quality by forming longitudinally extending location ribs on both lateral outer surfaces of a console box body near the finisher.

Two location ribs 15 longitudinally extending near a finisher part 13 are formed on both lateral outer surfaces of a container part 14. A notch to be engagingly locked by a holder is formed on the rear end of the location rib 15. A screwing boss part 17 and a positioning projection 18 are provided on the rear surface of the container part 14 so as to be protruded backward from the rear surface. In this console box body 11, the curving direction of the finisher 13, the extending direction of the location rib 15 and the direction of the screwing boss part 17 and the positioning projection 18 are set to the same. Accordingly, the releasing of the console box body 11 after injection molding is facilitated, and the metal mold structure therefor can be simplified.
