To provide a console box capable of reducing the number of components and the number of assembly processes by simplifying a lid and its opening/closing structure, and enhancing the appearance of a back side of the lid in an opened state and the touch feeling of the lid.
The console box 1 comprises a box body 2 having an opening 8b, and a lid 3 which closes the opening, and has a lid body 10 and a supporting frame 11 for supporting the lid body. The lid has an elastic extension part 20 with its fore end side being mounted on the inside of the box body. A shaft part 30 is provided on any one of the box body and the lid, and a bearing part 31 for pivotably supporting the shaft part is provided on the other. The shaft part and the bearing part are relatively moved in the direction across the axis of the shaft part by the expansion/contraction of the extension part.
