Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of high voltage by saturating the saturable transformer of a disconnected load before continuing a phase controller by the operation of the leakage inductance of an output transformer.
SOLUTION: A constant current controller 12 is provided with a current detector 13 detecting a load current 13 and a continuing angle controller 14 controlling the continuing phase angle of the phase controller 5 to fix a load current according to the detected signal of this detector 13. In this case, at the time of the normal operation of loads 9-1,...9-n, the controller 12 controls the continuing phase angle of the controller 6 so as to make a set current value according to the load current. When the bulb 11-X of some load 9-X is disconnected, the saturable transformer 10-X is saturated at a comparatively early stage by the operation of first leakage inductance. Consequently, the generation of high voltage is suppressed by the rising of a current when the controller 6 is continued.
