Abstract:
PURPOSE:To constitute a constant current power supply device, by connecting a series circuit of a diode and a capacitor of the specific capacity across an AC power supply and then connecting a series circuit of a capacitor and a diode aacross the diode mentioned first. CONSTITUTION:A series circuit of a diode 12 and a capacitor 11 of capacitor C11 is connected across an AC power supply (frequency f, voltage VP). Furthermore a series circuit of a capacitor 14 and a diode 13 is connected across the diode 12, and a load 15 is connected across the capacitor 14. Then the capacity of the capacitor 11 is decided so that the current IL to be supplied to the load 15 is set equal to 2fC11VP. As a result, the both-end voltage of the capacitor 14 is set a constant level. Accordingly the current IL flowing to the load 15 can be set at a constant level regardless of the value of the load 15. In such a way, a constant current power supply device is obtained.
