Abstract:
To provide a variable focus image formation method and a device thereof by which method and device focusing is done while keeping an image formation magnification constant, as for an image formation method and a device therefor for focusing and forming an object image at a fixed position.
An image formation optical system is constituted of a convergence lens 2 and a curved mirror 4 capable of changing a focal distance, and the curved mirror 4 is arranged, so that the apex of the mirror 4 may align with the image focus of the convergence lens 2, and in order to form the image 6 of the object 1 at a fixed position, the mirror surface of the mirror 4 is deformed and the focal distance of the mirror 4 is adjusted for focusing.
