PURPOSE: To always keep molten metal surface level to a constant without using a molten metal surface detecting level sensor, to facilitate the temp. control of the molten metal, to shorten a molten metal supplying tube for supplying the molten metal into a casting machine, to prevent the deterioration caused by oxidation of the molten metal and to supply the molten metal without impurity of oxide, etc.
CONSTITUTION: This apparatus is constituted with a ladling-up furnace part 1 for holding the molten metal (m) fed into the casting machine and a holding furnace part 2 for storing the molten metal (m'), and the ladling-up furnace part 1 and the holding furnace part 2 are mutually communicated with a molten metal feeding pipe 5 through a pump 4 for molten metal. Then, a weir 8 is arranged in the inner part of the ladling-up furnace part 1 so as to circulate the molten metal overflowed from the weir 8 into the holding furnace part 2 through the molten metal returning-back tube 6. Further, inert gas is made to fill up in the ladling-up furnace part 1 or in the molten metal returning-back tube 6.
