To provide a constant pressure release damper formed that a blade is released at a stretch when wind passing through a damper frame exceeds a set wind pressure, and airtightness during full closing can be ensured.
The constant pressure release damper comprises a lock receiving body 32 having an arcuate part 34 fixed at the shaft end of a rotary shaft protruded outward and a lock support part 36; a roller 22 rolled in adhesion to the arcuate part 34 of the lock support body 23 and engaged with and disengaged from the lock support part 36 of a lock support body 32; and a lock device 26 energizing in direction in which the roller 22 always approaches the lock support body 32. Further, the lock support part 36 has a slope 58 situated such that the roller 22 is forced upward in a direction to approach the lock support body 32 in synchronism with closing rotation of the blade 16 formed in succession to the arcuate part 34. When the blade 16 fully closes a flow passage V, the roller 22 is positioned only on the slope 58, security of full closing of the flow passage during setting of a balance between a wind pressure and a gravity moment around a rotary shaft and closing of the blade is reliably executed.
