Abstract:
PURPOSE:To permit the constant speed traveling control with high stability independently of the engine load by installing an outside negative pressure source, selector valve for switching a manifold negative pressure and the outside negative pressure source, pressure switch for detecting the negative pressure of the outside negative pressure source, and a pressure regulator set into a negative pressure conduit which connects the outside negative pressure source and the selector valve. CONSTITUTION:When the car speed deviation exceeds a prescribed value, an outside negative pressure source 12 is driven, and when the negative pressure of the outside negative pressure source 12 exceeds a prescribed value, and a pressure switch 17 is operated, a selector valve 14 is operated, and the driving negative pressure source for an actuator 1 is switched from a manifold port 10 side to the outside negative pressure source 12 side. Further, since a flow control type pressure regulator 18 is provided, the overshoot and undershoot of the negative pressure which is generated in the operation of the selector valve 14 can be prevented, and the smooth switching control is permitted. Therefore, the constant gain control due to the nearly constant negative pressure is permitted in the stationary case by the action of the pressure regulator 18, and the constant speed traveling control with high stability is permitted.
