PURPOSE: To enable to set a temperature correctly from a remote place by a method wherein the temperature sensitive body of a regulating body is heated by the calorific value of a heating body in accordance with the set temperature.

CONSTITUTION: A first temperature sensitive body 14 accommodating wax 13 therein is provided in a mixing chamber 4 communicated with a water flow path 2 and a hot-water flow path 3, a lift 16 loosely fitted into a cylindrical body 15 is moved by the expansion and contraction of the temperature sensitive body 14, the cylindrical body 19 is secured to the cylindrical body 19 provided continuously with the temperature sensitive body 14 and a water side control valve body 21 as well as a hot-water side regulating valve body 23 are controlled by the movement of the cylindrical body 19. The upper end B of the lift 16 is fitted into the recessed groove 37 of the regulating body 35 energized upwardly by a spring 36. The lift is abutted against the upper surface of the regulating body 35, the lift 34 is loosely fitted into the cylindrical body 33 and moved by a second temperature sensitive body 29, accommodating wax 31 and heated by a heating body 28.
