Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the atomizing performance of fuel so largely by forming a vacuum responding valve with a plastic material containing conductive materials, while making an electric current flow in this vacuum responding valve, in a carburetor for an internal combustion engine.

CONSTITUTION: A vacuum responding valve 20 is set up in a vacuum responding valve guide cylinder combinedly installed in an intake passage 2 piercing through a carburetor body 1. A pressure chamber P is formed in an interval between a partition body 11 and a cover 21 set up in an upper part of the vacuum responding valve 20. Also there is provided with an atmospheric chamber A by this partition body 11 and a carburetor body recess 13. The vacuum responding valve 20 is made up of a plastic material containing conductive materials. An electric current is made to flow in this valve 20 for self-heating and thus its temperature is made to go up. Doing like this, the atomizing performance of fuel is largely improvable.
