Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant velocity joint assembly capable of preventing the diameter of a cover ring mounted to a shaft from being enlarged, to thereby enable secure slip-off of an inside member and the shaft.SOLUTION: A constant velocity joint assembly 1 integrally connects a constant velocity joint 10 and a shaft 20 by a cover ring 30. The constant velocity joint 10 has an outer ring 110, an inside member 120 where the shaft 20 is inserted into an inner spline 123, and a rolling body 130 transmitting torque. The shaft 20 has an outer spline 21, and an annular groove 22 capable of mounting the cover ring 30 onto an outer peripheral surface. The cover ring 30 is press-fitted into the outer spline 21 by applying a load to one side in an axial direction of the shaft 20, in a state of being mounted to the annular groove 22 of the shaft 20.
