Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To firmly fix an inside joint member and a power transmission shaft by a simple structure, and to easily separate them from each other.SOLUTION: A constant velocity universal joint 11 comprises: an outside joint member 12; and an inside joint member 13 for transmitting torque while allowing angular displacement via balls 14 between the outside joint member 12 and itself. A power transmission shaft 25 is connected to the inside joint member 13 so as to be capable of transmitting torque, and an attachment/detachment mechanism 33 for attaching and detaching the power transmission shaft 25 to/from the inside joint member 13 is provided between the inside joint member 13 and the power transmission shaft 25. The attachment/detachment mechanism 33 comprises: a cylindrical member 34 which is extensionally arranged at the inside joint member 13, and externally fit to the power transmission shaft 25; a fixation member 36 which is accommodated in the cylindrical member 34 so as to be movable in a radial direction; and an annular member 37 which is arranged at an outer periphery of the cylindrical member 34 so as to be movable in an axial direction. By moving the fixation member 36 in the cylindrical member 34 in the radial direction by the movement of the annular member 37 in the axial direction, the fixation member 36 becomes attachable and detachable to/from the power transmission shaft 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
