Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the reliability by multiplexing and transmitting a signal which commands whether or a voltage is applied to a load with the height of a pulse through a transmission line which transmits a reference voltage by pulse width modulation, and controlling whether or not the voltage is applied to the load. CONSTITUTION:A signal generation part 104 outputs a signal by imposing pulse- width modulation upon the reference voltage determining the voltage of the load 102 and multiplexes and transmits the signal for controlling whether the load is powered ON or OFF with said pulse-width modulated signal. The pulse is inputted to the pulse voltage conversion part 107 of a control part 106 and converted into a smoothed voltage, which has output voltage value correlative with the pulse width and becomes the reference voltage determining the load voltage. The received pulse, on the other hand, has ON/OFF information decoded and outputted by an ON/OFF decision part 108. The outputs of the pulse voltage conversion part 107 and ON/OFF control part 108 are inputted to a conduction control part 110, which determines the conduction phase angle of a switching element 103 and whether it is ON or OFF. Consequently, the constant voltage device which has high reliability is obtained.
