Abstract:

To provide a constant water depth control mechanism achieving a power-saving control of water depth, and a constant water depth floating body including the constant water depth control mechanism.

By controlling the amount of pouring sea water into a cylinder 47, the hollow volume of a hollow section of the constant water depth floating body 100, namely, the buoyancy of the constant water depth floating body 100 is controlled, thereby controlling the water depth of the constant water depth floating body 100. By transforming the rotary motion of a motor 42 into the lifting motion of a piston 46, the loss of energy transformation is minimized, achieving a power-saving position control of the piston 46. Thereby, the constant water depth floating body 100 can be driven for a long period of time. The constant water depth floating body 100 can be formed inexpensively because a known device or member is applicable thereto.
