PURPOSE: To obtain a constituent part for a lightweight transporting means, having a sufficient heat-resistant strength even at high temperature, by winding carbon yarn or inorganic yarn on a cylindrical mold so as to make a great number of mutual intersecting points and sealing the yarn in an integrated way.

CONSTITUTION: Carbon yarn or inorganic yarn is wound on a cylindrical mold so as to make a great number of mutual intersecting points, coated with a carbon adhesive and released from the mold. Then the the yarn is heat-treated, the adhesive is made infusible, further carbonized and the yarn is sealed in an integrated way. For example, a great number of members 1 prepared by making the constituent parts flat are connected in a hinged way and the members are joined by connecting rods 2 and nuts 3 to constitute a belt conveyor.
