To establish a constructing method for plant facilities which is capable of decreasing the unit costs of construction by shortening the period required to carry out the works of constructing the plant facilities.
A caisson structure 203 is installed in a construction site for plant facilities, and the excavation works are conducted under the caisson structure 203. In parallel with the excavation works, the construction works for a base 207, works for a house to accommodate the plant facilities, and installation works for the facilities are conducted over the caisson structure 203, and together with the structure on the oversurface the caisson structure 203 is sunk to the specified depth in association with the progress of the excavation works.
