Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide construction boards which are improved in structure of a side edge joint portion to ensure continuity of design between the adjacent construction boards, to thereby exhibit high external design value, and to provide a method for producing the construction boards.
SOLUTION: According to the construction boards, firstly. regions corresponding to lower tongue portions 3-1, 3-2, and 5-1, and lower tongue deeper portions 31-1 and 31-2 are molded as thinner regions 3, 31, and 5 beforehand by embossing, and thereafter material portions Y and Z are removed by a thickness corresponding to the thickness of the regions over the entire length of respective side edges and over distances (a) and (b) in an inward direction from the respective side edges. Thus, an upper tong portion 2-1, and thick upper tongue portions 6-1 and 6-2 are formed at extreme tips of portions (projecting pattern portions 2 and 6) which are not reduced in thickness, and at the same time linear connecting end faces 7-1 and 7-2 are formed on rear surfaces of the construction boards.
