Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase a corrosion-resistance of a frame, reduce the number of part items, and also increase an absorption efficiency of impact energy by forming a reinforcement plate for reinforcing a tie-down plate mounting part of the frame integrally with a bumper mounting bracket.
CONSTITUTION: A bumper mounting bracket 3 and a tie-down plate 4 with a lower end engaging hole 4a for engaging the tie-down hook A are installed at the rear end of a rear frame 2. The bracket 3 is provided with a cover plate 3a which closes the rear end of the rear frame 2 and a reinforcement plate 3b which is bent and extended forward from the lower edge of the cover plate 3a. Mounting bolts 9 of the tie-down plate 4 are screwed into nuts 6 fixed on the reinforcement plate 3b through a mounting base 4b at the top end of the plate 4 and a bottom plate 2b of a rear frame 2 to connect the tie-down plate 4 to the bottom plate 2b of the rear frame 2.
