Title:
CONSTRUCTION OF COMPLEX FACILITIES USING DRY RIVER BED/COASTLINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007009662
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve the problems that construction or provision of expressway facilities requires immense costs and labor for acquisition of sites and protection for environmental pollution and public nuisance is caused upon neighboring residents during construction work and even after completion.

Expressways and wind power/photovoltaic power generation facilities are preferentially installed in dry river beds and coastlines to achieve "reduction in environmental pollution" and "acquisition of clean energy". Tide fences for protection against flooding and tsunamis are added for "disaster prevention". Disaster supplies storage bases, landing places, and supplies transport boats are obtained for "disaster relief activities". Tourism resources are created. Multi-purpose exhibition facilities capable of providing children, students, researchers with education and academic resources are available. Parking spaces for small and large automobiles and rest stations for drivers are provided. Thus, costs for acquisition of sites are reduced, time required for acquisition of sites is shortened, and strength and reduction of construction costs are surely attained by integral design with annexed facilities. In operation after completion of construction, profits from power generation can be attained, and further residents are provided with advantage of flood damage prevention, supplies for disaster relief and supplies transport/distribution facilities, all of which synergically solve the above problems.
