PURPOSE: To easily construct a concrete substructure by orderly joining blocks consisting of outside plate blocks whose walls are divided into plural parts, inner structural blocks, divided walls, and divided curved faces.
CONSTITUTION: A sit-on-bottom type structure for icy sea consists of a concrete substructure 2 receiving the pressures of water and ice and a steel super structure 1 connected to the upside of the concrete substructure 2. The blocks 12 and 13 are formed by dividing the curved face 8 of the substructure 2 and also integrating divided wall portions 4 and 15 with the divided portions 14 of the curved face 8. In assembling the substructure 2, outside plate blocks constituting sidewise outside plates 4, inner structural blocks constituting sidewise inner structures 6, outside plate blocks 12, and inner structural blocks constituting sidewise inner structues 6, outside plate blocks 12, and inner structural blocks 13 are orderly joined.
