PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction work elevator that dispenses with the work to add an expanded floor part in a construction site, and can easily fold an occupant seat.SOLUTION: A construction elevator 10 includes a rail part 12 provided adjacent to a building 1 to be constructed, which extends vertically, and a lifting and lowering device 18 for lifting and lowering a carrier 16 having a floor part 14 on which materials can be placed, along the rail part 12, the floor part 14 functioning also as a load receiving platform, and further includes an occupant seat part 22 provided to the floor part 14, which is configured so as to be folded and developed by a one-touch operation, and a mechanical lock device 30 for fixing the floor part 14 of the carrier 16 to the building 1 at a landing position and preventing the carrier 16 from dropping.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
