Abstract:
PURPOSE: To raise the safety and economy of foundation construction work under water by saving man-powered works under water and also shortening the construction period at site.
CONSTITUTION: A foundation material 1 consisting of a lower side footing part 1a and an upper side rising part 1b, both of which are made into an integrally floating structure, is delivered to a point P where a water structure A is constructed and then sunk in situs to construct it on the bottom 2 under water. A pile 3 previously provided to the lower side footing part 1a is driven into the bottom 2 to fix the foundation material 1 to the bottom 2 under water.
