Abstract:

To provide the construction machine, equipped with an economical radio device which can securely transmit video signals from a construction machine moving frequently for operation and a construction machine operating in a slanting place to a remote operation side, and its remote steering facilities.

A remote steering system for construction machine comprises a construction machine equipped with an image pickup means 11 which picks up an image of an operation state, an m-wave transmitter receiver 12 which sends an image pickup signal, an mm-wave radio device 21 which receives the image pickup signal, and remote operation facilities for remotely operating the construction machine; and an antenna 18 of the millimeter wave radio device 12 on the construction machine side and an antenna 27 of the millimeter wave radio device 21 on the remote operation facility side are so constituted that their horizontal beam widths are wider than their vertical beam widths.
