Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction machine that allows cleaning of a heat exchanger from a shroud side without removing a shroud and relaxes restrictions on the insertion positions of cleaning tools for the heat exchanger.SOLUTION: A compact excavator of the present invention comprises: a cooling fan 12 driven and rotated by an engine 10 housed in an engine compartment 8; a heat exchanger 13 cooled by air flow generated by the rotation of the cooling fan 12; and a shroud 14 that has a cylindrical part 14e in which the cooling fan 12 is housed. The shroud 14 includes revolving parts that can revolve in the direction of the engine 10. The present invention also comprises a bracket 15 that forms a partition for the engine compartment 8 and is fixed to a swivel structure 2. The shroud 14 includes fixed parts fixed to the bracket 15's surface facing the engine 10 and hinge parts that can revolve and connect between the above-mentioned revolving parts and the above-mentioned fixed parts.
