Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction machine capable of easily approaching a lateral part of an engine during maintenance while suppressing leakage of noise from the engine by an engine guard during a normal operation of the construction machine, and improving workability of maintenance work at the lateral part of the engine.SOLUTION: A crane 1 is provided with: a rear fixed guard 21 that is fixed to an engine frame 20 so as to cover the lateral and upper sides of a radiator 32; and an engine guard 23 that is provided on the engine frame 20 so as to be movable between a cover position P1 for covering the upper and lateral sides of the operation target range A of an engine 34 located on the front side of the rear fixed guard 21 and an open position P2 which is before the cover position P1 and which is for covering the upper and lateral sides of a power divider 36 and a hydraulic pump 38 and opening the upper and lateral sides of the operation target range A of the engine 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
