Abstract:
To supply exhaust gas with a high temperature to a three way catalyst, and reduce the temperature of the exhaust gas discharged to outside.SOLUTION: An upper revolving super structure 3 of a hydraulic shovel 1 comprises: a gas engine 8; an exhaust gas collecting part 11 for collecting the exhaust gas discharged from the gas engine 8; an exhaust pipe 14 connected to the exhaust gas collecting part 11; a three way catalyst 12 being connected to a halfway of the exhaust pipe 14 for purifying the exhaust gas; and a muffler 17 being connected to the exhaust pipe 14 on a downstream side of the three way catalyst 12 with respect to a flow direction of the exhaust gas, and attenuating exhaust sound. The three way catalyst 12 is provided at a front and lower side of the exhaust gas collecting part 11, and the muffler 17 is arranged on an upper side of the hydraulic pump 10. The exhaust pipe 14 comprises: an upstream side exhaust pipe 15 for connecting the exhaust gas collecting part 11 and the three way catalyst 12; and a downstream side exhaust pipe 16 for connecting the three way catalyst 12 and the muffler 17, in which the downstream side exhaust pipe 16 has a pipeline length longer than that of the upstream side exhaust pipe 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
