Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shovel capable of preventing deterioration of working efficiency even when a capacitor 19 is deteriorated.SOLUTION: A shovel according to an embodiment of this invention includes an engine 11, a motor generator 12, a capacitor 19, and a controller 30. The controller 30 performs control so that a temperature of the capacitor 19 in operation of the shovel is relatively higher than before deterioration when the capacitor 19 is deteriorated. For example, the controller 30 increases a control temperature of the capacitor 19 by changing at least one of a cooling condition of a water pump and a heating condition of the motor generator 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
